Let Me Introduce You To:

Ten year old Paul had a smiling face despite the fact that he had come with a bad leg fracture. Why and how that smile? "Sister it is lovely here. I have no TV at home because we have no electricity in our house". Actually the hospital room was a luxury for him as he, father, mother and an invalid brother lived in one room. It was so good to see Paul enjoying the cartoons on TV and also playing with a train-set from Scotland. When father took him home we saw the joy and relief on his face as we gave him some money to help home-life. Paul did a drawing and painting to show his gratitude, as he left he turned back saying "Hi Sister, I'll be back soon".

Filip came as a leukemia patient. He had been in a coma for ten days! Doctors worked hard to clear his lungs and were so successful. Mother and father asked that we pray together and, daily, we did just that. On my arrival one morning, mother was smiling. He had opened his eyes! "Sister is here, Filip" she said, he nodded his head. I
could hardly credit what I saw on my next visit! Filip, though still
attached to his bed, was holding a mobile phone and speaking to his father. Mother's face was radiant Filip had emerged from that long sleep and, after the "phone call" entered into bantering about football - Steaua vs Rapid! A loving God had answered that mother's prayers.
Nelu is 22 years of age, brother of Nicusor who suffered a broken spine, attended to the needs of that brother as he lay in the hospital. He asked for little and that, only for his brother but what a joy for both when we provided a new wheelchair.

Vasile sits on his bed almost always smiling suffering from the brittle bones syndrome. He cannot stand or walk. Mother had carried him to school but now we have provided a new wheelchair for him. Vasile calls this his Mercedes. "I'll be able to drive to school" says Vasile as
mother smiles her gratitude.
